Fundraise for Us

As a non‐profit organisation, MERCY Humanitarian UK (MHUK) relies solely on funding and donations from organisations and generous individuals to continue our services on providing medical and humanitarian assistance to our beneficiaries.

From small-scale events to campaigns, we are always open to opportunities of collaborating with partners, individuals, student organisations who share our vision and commitment.

We believe that by joining hands with like-minded entities, we can amplify the impact of our efforts and reach even more people in need. Our commitment to deliver medical and humanitarian aid drives us to explore innovative partnerships that enable us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Whether it’s participating in community outreach programs, contributing to disaster relief initiatives, or supporting sustainable healthcare projects, MHUK is dedicated to building strong relationships with supporters who are passionate about creating positive change. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in enabling us to deliver essential services to those who rely on our assistance the most. Together, we can work towards a healthier, safer, and more equitable world.

Fundraising FAQ

1) Can I organise a fundraising event or campaign on behalf of MHUK?

Yes. We are constantly on the lookout for individuals and organisations to fundraise with us for our humanitarian work. Please email your details to us at admin@mercy.uk.com or reach out to us on social media.

2) Do I need approval from MHUK before I start fundraising?

Yes. We take our accountability very seriously, and we need to ensure that the funds from fundraising events held in our name are properly channelled to those in need. As such, we require your kind cooperation to inform us to fundraise on behalf of MHUK.

3) Can I use MHUK logo to support my fundraising event?

Yes. You will need to seek prior approval from MHUK before developing any marketing and promotional material which includes our logo.

4) Can I sell my products/services and nominate a percentage of sales to be donated to MHUK?

Yes. You will need to seek prior approval from MHUK before developing any marketing and promotional material which includes our logo, or any collaterals.

5) Can I or my organisation decide how the funds raised for my event/campaign should be utilised?

We discourage this. We are a needs-based organization, as such, we strive to provide assistance to our beneficiaries purely on a needs basis.

By earmarking your funds for specific expenditure only, we are unable to utilise your funds elsewhere, where it may be needed more.

An example, if you specify that your fund should only be spent on children’s projects, this would then exclude other potentially more urgent needs such as medical relief or treatment for the elderly.

We are committed to being accountable to our donors on how the funds should be channelled, and we encourage you to keep your donations non-earmarked.
